Most people think of lavender as a summertime ingredient, but once it’s been dried it can be a wonderfully subtle drink garnish in the fall. Dried florals in general feel like autumn to me, reminiscent of wreaths and golden fields. This year we’ve partnered with Terlato Wines to create a lavender-inspired fall cocktail using their incredible Santa Margherita Prosecco. This drink couldn’t be much simpler — it’s the perfect cocktail to whip up when a girlfriend drops by unexpectedly or you find yourself in need of something to sip before dinner with friends. Aside from the dried lavender, there are only two ingredients in this simple cocktail: 2 ounces of St-Germain Liquor and 4 ounces of Santa Margherita Prosecco. The wine is crafted with Glera grapes (also known as Prosecco grapes) grown in the famed Valdobbiadene DOCG region.
