When it comes to decking out the home for holidays, the modern Jewish girl runs into one glaring problem over and over: there doesn’t seem to be anything out there to match our tastes. When your house is filled with natural materials and minimalist shapes, the last thing you want to introduce to the space is a candelabra in multi-colored blown glass or ornate brushed nickel — yet it seems like the only choice we have in choosing Judaica is either crazy contemporary, or ultra traditional. With Hanukkah around the corner, I decided, enough is enough. It wasn’t easy, but I searched the internet high and low to find a selection of not-your-mama’s menorahs that are stylish and fun.
