The weather in Austin couldn’t be better today. Mid-60’s and not a cloud in the sky, it’s truly the definition of a perfect Spring day. So would you believe me if I’d told you I wished it was raining? I don’t know when it happened, but over the last few years I’ve fallen increasingly more in love with the sounds, the sights, the feeling of rainfall. It’s not just about getting to wear my favorite pair of wellies or curling up on the couch for a movie; looking out the window to see cars splashing by, fumbling my umbrella and dog’s leash, and racing from the car to the front door all just feel so wonderful to me. Sure, I might feel differently if I lived somewhere like London or Seattle, but these days, I’m having a complete and total love affair with rain.
