It’s undeniable: lashes are having a serious moment right now. Whereas falsies used to be reserved for rare circumstances and extensions were mostly reserved for pageant queens, now many women count applying false lashes or getting lash extensions touched up as part of their regular beauty routines. Personally, I prefer a more natural lash look, but seeing all of these women with larger-than-life lashes on Instagram and IRL has me feeling a little bit left out. What’s a low-maintenance lash-stalker to do? Rather than stress myself out with lash glue or expensive salon appointments, I decided to take the easier (and cheaper) approach: shop for new mascaras, of course!
