Happy weekend, friends! About this time in June every year, I always look at the calendar and realize that July is almost upon us — and that if I don’t start squeezing every last bit of fun out of these summer days, the season will be gone before I know it! That’s pretty much summed up this weekend so far, and we’ve packed it full of long walks with the kids, trip to the farmers market, dinner with friends in the backyard, and baking experiments (banana-chocolate chip-carrot muffins — mmmm.) Today I plan to submerge myself in the swimming pool and stay there most of the day if I’m lucky; I’ve got to soak up as many relaxing vibes as possible before my flight to NYC tomorrow morning takes off at (wait for it) – 5:45 a.m. (insert screaming emoji here.)
