This time of year, there’s really only one item we’re on the look out for: the perfect coat. In Austin, we haven’t quite reached puffer and shearling temps (and honestly, we’re nowhere close), so instead of sporting heavy outerwear, the trench is fulfilling all my cozy, fall-fashion needs. I love how the classic trench has transcended history, originally designed to protect british military officers against rain and wind in the “trenches”. Since then, the classic design has been an unstoppable fashion force, thanks to Burberry and Audrey turning the it into a timeless piece and making it forever synonymous with our romance with Autumn.
