We’ve got a heat wave here in NYC or more like, Summer has *officially* arrived. The idea of turning on the oven is a joke, and I’m looking for “cooling” meals at all times of day. Green smoothies happen to be my breakfast of choice, so that’s a given, but I’m loving changing up the flavors these days. This tropical smoothie is my favorite flavor shake-up, with fresh mint and ginger making it incredibly refreshing. I love it with almond milk, but it could be great with a half-coconut-milk-half-water situation as well. Best part of this smoothie?
