The Lavender Eye

There’s no easier way to shake up your cold weather makeup routine than by adding an unexpected pop of color. We met up with uber-talented makeup artist Avery Allen at Sabia Salon to talk about what’s new for spring in terms of hue: “Lavender eye shadow was a big hit on the S/S 2015 runways, and I wanted to translate that trend into an approachable day-time makeup look,” Avery explained as she pulled out her brushes to get started with lovely model Ane Urquiola Alberu. “Lavender will make any eye color pop and really brightens up the face. This is a soft and easy way to change up your every day makeup,” she added.
